This is a very honest, reasonably-priced auto mechanic. Bud (the owner) is a straight shooter and a man of his word. We've taken both of our vehicles to CarTech on several different occasions, and even though we recently moved from Lakeland to Sarasota, we'll continue to bring our cars to Bud and CarTech. If you are looking for an honest, economical option, this is the place for you.

When my check engine light came on, they fit me in to diagnose it. Explained the problem, which was minor, and did not charge for the service. I appreciated their honesty and prompt attention as an out of state customer.

After meeting Bud, the owner of Car Tech through a friend whom I had taken to pick up his vehicle, I had a little discussion with him and quickly realized that he has over 30 years of experience as a mechanic. Not to mention he's a very kind and respectable person, as well as the other mechanics working there. A couple weeks later I ran into a complicated problem with my vehicle, one of those where even the best of high tech equipment could not easily detect the error since there was no code. I took my vehicle to Bud to diagnose. At first they tried to fix what might be the most possible cause, it did not work. It was difficult to find the problem. However, Bud insisted that he will not give up. I left the vehicle so they could continue the trouble-shooting process. I was absolutely relieved when they called and said they found the problem and fixed it. I would certainly recommend Car Tech to anyone who needs to have their vehicle repaired. Going forward I would continue use the services of Car Tech, of which I am very pleased.

We've been going to Cartech for over 20yrs. Bud and his brother are the best mechanics in town! They will always be up front on the work that needs to be done and their pricing is very good! I really don't trust mechanics as a whole but Csrtech has delivered for us time and time again! Thank you Bud for all of the great work over the years! See you tomorrow morning when I drop the van off! 👍👌

I've dealt with these guys through 3 cars and 10 years. They are excellent mechanics and they always charge a very reasonable price. They are are super honest! I brought in a car that just had a disconnected hose and they only charged me like $10 because it took them like 5 minutes to fix it! They gave me a free oil change as a Christmas gift last year because I'm a loyal customer! They replaced an air conditioner coil that took a lot of time to do and in a few days, the part they installed broke. They re-installed another part and charged me nothing for the replacement part and labor because they guaranteed their work. I've really never had a service shop like this before in my 40 years of car ownership. I can't recommend them enough!

We took our truck in for repairs... Bud is an honest, straight shooter and fair guy. His guys did a great job and there were no "Surprises" on the bill. In fact, we took our car in for brakes and they did a great job on it too. We needed new brake rotors and we received the same professional and fair priced service on that job as well. You are appreciated Bud. A+

They were totally awesome! Fixed my car and had me back on the road same day! Cost was reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone who is having car problems. I will be keeping them as my mechanic. Thank you for your great service.
